Dr. Bianca Vekima is a dedicated and compassionate dentist committed to delivering exceptional comprehensive dental care with a focus on both function, aesthetics, and patient education. Dr. Vekima earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical excellence and evidence-based care. She continued her training through the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with the NYU Langone Dental Medicine Postdoctoral Residency Program, refining her skills in complex restorative dentistry, cosmetic procedures, and comprehensive treatment planning.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California, graduating with a major in Global Health and a minor in International Relations. Her academic background shaped her holistic perspective on healthcare and continues to influence her culturally aware, prevention-focused approach to patient care. She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New York State Dental Association (NYSDA), and Second District Dental Society (SDDS), and remains committed to continuing education to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Vekima enjoys traveling, getting lost in a good book, and exploring New York City’s neighborhoods one coffee shop at a time. She has a particular appreciation for barista training and the artistry behind crafting the perfect espresso, a passion that reflects her love for precision and detail in all aspects of life.
She values meaningful connections and believes that dentistry is not only about improving smiles, but about enhancing confidence and overall well-being.
