Dr. Deval Parmar earned his bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from Gujrat University (INDIA), where he had the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations throughout acute, sub-acute, home health, and outpatient settings. His desire to improve and learn led him to pursue a master’s degree in exercise science at Long Island University in Brooklyn.
Dr. Deval is a mindful and caring physical therapist with more than 5 years of experience treating various musculoskeletal and neurological impairments. He is proficient with manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue mobilization, trigger point release, kinesiology taping, and other physical therapy techniques, including assisted stretching, PNF, and joint mobilization. He is also very knowledgeable about corrective and functional exercises.

Most of his patients are the most active individuals with sports-related injuries, such as runners, cyclists, and gymgoers with shoulder, hip, elbow, wrist, knee, and foot/ankle problems. He also sees patients with neck, back, and shoulder issues that mostly stem from the poor habitual posture.
Dr. Deval’s goal with each treatment is not only to address the symptoms but also to identify the root cause and effectively manage each condition. He offers individualized treatment and works closely with patients to help them return to a pain-free lifestyle. He also strives to make each session feel easy and fun, motivating each patient to achieve their goals.
