About Brooklyn Urologist Inga Melnikova
Inga Melnikova originally attended and graduated from Rostov-on-Don Medical University. Melnikova completed her internship at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. She went back to complete her Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry at Stony Brook University, where she participated in Molecular and Genetic research.
Melnikova then pursued her interest in nursing and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree with honors from Wagner College of Nursing. She then continued her education in nursing at Wagner College and graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner, later becoming Board Certified. While working full-time at Mount Sinai Hospital as a Senior Director of Operating Room, she returned to Wagner College of Nursing to complete her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2019.
Inga is an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.
Melnikova is a proponent of holistic treatment and personal patient care. She is known as a dedicated, compassionate and empathetic clinician. Outside of her work, Inga is a very devoted mother to her son. She also loves traveling and nature.
