About Gynecologist Olga Filippova, MD
Dr. Olga T. Filippova is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist with a deep commitment to caring for women with complex gynecologic cancers. She sees patients at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and serves as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
With training from some of the most respected medical institutions in the country, Dr. Filippova combines clinical expertise with a strong foundation in research. She is fluent in both English and Russian and brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to patient care — whether guiding treatment for newly diagnosed ovarian cancer or managing rare and advanced cases.
Dr. Filippova is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) and the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG).
She has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and continues to lead and collaborate on research projects focused on surgical outcomes, ovarian cancer treatment strategies, and geriatric oncology. She also serves on the NIH/NCI’s Physician Data Query Editorial Board for adult cancer treatment.
Her work has been recognized and presented at national and international conferences, including the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
Dr. Filippova is known for her careful attention to detail, straightforward communication, and deep empathy for her patients. She works closely with a team of specialists to provide personalized treatment plans that reflect the most current research while honoring each patient’s goals and values.
