About Gynecologist Radha Syed, MD
Dr. Radha Syed, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, has been serving the New York community for more than four decades. Her primary focus lies in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the accredited New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn in 1981.
Dr. Syed is skilled in a variety of in-office surgical procedures, including both diagnostic and therapeutic hysteroscopies. In 2011, she earned certification in robotic-assisted surgery. Over the years, she has contributed extensively to the medical field through scientific presentations, peer-reviewed publications, and textbook chapters centered on minimally invasive surgical methods. Committed to education, she mentors OB-GYN residents and plays a key role in training the next generation of gynecologists.
Dr. Syed held the position of President of the Richmond County Medical Society in 2020 and currently leads the Women in Medicine Committee for the Medical Society of the State of New York.
