For more than twenty years, Dr. Sadaf Lodhi, DO has built her career as an OBGYN in New York with a mission to empower and educate women. She is the founder and CEO of Femme Vie Health, a concierge gynecology practice serving patients in New York, as well as a telehealth practice supporting women in Michigan. While she provides care across the full spectrum of women’s health, her deepest focus lies in sexual and menopausal health, along with intimacy coaching. Guided by the belief that every woman, regardless of background, has the potential to live a full and meaningful life, Dr. Lodhi has become a trusted advocate and practitioner in her field.
Dr. Lodhi’s journey began at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, where she graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She then went on to complete her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University, followed by her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Michigan. In addition to being a board-certified OBGYN, she pursued advanced training as a sexual health specialist, earning certification as a sexual counselor and educator from the University of Michigan. She is also a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and an ISSWSH Fellow, reflecting her commitment to excellence in women’s health.
Her influence extends beyond clinical practice. In 2024, Dr. Lodhi delivered a TEDx talk in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, titled “Sexual Education for Physicians, Lessons from a Muslim Gynecologist.” That same year, she was named Alumni of the Year by her alma mater, the University of Michigan–Dearborn, in recognition of her advocacy through the Muslim Sex Podcast. Through this platform, she brings accessible sexual and menopausal health education to audiences around the world.
In addition to her medical and advocacy work, Dr. Lodhi is also a published author, contributing to the books “Thriving After Burnout” and “Made for More 2.” Her voice continues to inspire and empower women globally, carrying forward her mission to combine medical expertise with compassion, education, and empowerment.
